Dark Desire is a tale of seduction, passion, sex, fun, a twist in a relationship, dilution of family values, woman sexuality, mistrust, and many more dark shades of life.

Well, to start the story the opening shot is worth mentioning in this review.
A long continuous shot first looks over the shoulder of a handcuffed woman being led out of a building, past a body being loaded into a coroner's van, then follows a forensic pathologist through the crime scene to a pool of blood. And then the camera jumps into a cloudy pool and the scene changes to a woman swimming in clear water on a sunny day, subtitled WEEKS AGO.

 
Let's get back to the characters and story behind the scene.
Woman in handcuffs and swimmer In the very first image of this show, Alma the lead role of the web series acted by the very talented Maite Perroni, a professor and family woman. Some womanizers may say that her teenage daughter looks like her sister and simply does not dare to compliment her. She is married to Leonardo acted by Jorge Poza, a judge, and man of reputation. Their daughter Zoe acted by Regina Pavon, wants to become a doctor of dead bodies. Things aren't working great at home - Alma and Leonardo's sex life is miserable and she suspects him of having an affair with his secretary Edith acted by Paulina Matos. And this is a point where the series takes wild and unexpected turns.
Alma takes holiday and packs her suitcase - toothbrush, the extra laundry, undergarments, check, vibrator for fun anytime, why not - and goes to the outskirts of the city to meet her close friend Brenda, a recently divorced woman who is gearing up to have sex, fun and take most from life in this holiday.
She also advises Alma who is a little shy so far to find a hot guy and go for it. They go to a nightclub. When age or family are not factors for little fun alma quipped "We just lowered the average age to 25".
