Don't expect the repetition of Sex/life or Sex/life 2 but yes it is a cocktail of a decent thriller with some erotism.

William Farrow (Richard Armitage) is not only a talented and successful surgeon who has made headline news for separating conjoined babies, but he is also a humble and modest individual. Additionally, he is married to a successful female barrister (Indira Varma), making him a feminist as well. However, his perfect life is thrown into disarray when he becomes infatuated with his son's mysterious girlfriend-fiancee Anna (Charlie Murphy). This story is based on Josephine Hart's 1991 novel Damage, which was adapted into a film starring Jeremy Irons, Juliette Binoche, and Miranda Richardson the following year.

The audience can relax while watching the sex scenes in the movie, which are plentiful. William and Anna's attraction to each other is first displayed at a crowded party in parliament and continues with nudity parity in a friend's flat, against walls in Paris, and in a garden.
On the first hand, it is a little difficult to swallow why William fell in lust with his son's girlfriend-fiancee Anna. The uncontrollable behavior of the surgeon coupled with intelligent action by Anna is weird. Initially, the audience sees actions (sexual encounters) by Anna as a calculated risk taken by her to manage both father and son for pleasure but in later episodes, we get to know that it's all mindless obsession for pure sex.

The first episode of Hart's drama only lasts 30 minutes, while the rest are at most 40 minutes. The plot is quite thin and predicted, and it appears that the intention was to make all the parts of the show that involved sexual tension as short as possible.
After the opening scene where Anna inquires "Is that for me?" at the parliamentary party and William pushes the olive into her mouth with an awkwardness that is surprising for someone who had just separated conjoined twins, the romance between the characters is mostly shown through the subtle glances and long stares that take place while they are washing up in the Farrow kitchen after Anna meets her fiance's parents.

This show could have made the relationships between the characters more interesting and believable. Perhaps they were too busy keeping track of the ratio of nudity in the show.
The leads did their best with the thin material they were given. Overall the novel-based mini-series is watchable for most of the audience.
The current rating of the show is IMDB is 5.4/10
Hollywood Xtreme gives 6/10
